Welcome to the Winer Foundation's new Website / Blog

"One person who cares can make a difference"

We're the same organization that has served its constituents for over 30 years.

Winer Foundation has a powerful mission statement. Here are some granular ways to contact with us:

The "Winer Foundation" Server is Our New Hub (an invite-only home for your friends or community - a place where you can talk, hang out, and have fun and learn more about what we are doing).

Think of The Winer Foundation Server  as you joining with other in a giant tree house where each channel represents one of the rooms of our tree house where you can chat with your friends, communicate with us, or commit to a project or to support our work in other ways.

TO GET GRANULAR: Our server is made up of video channels (Youtube), Google Meet (for seminars and small group meetings), text and voice channels for more personalized communication.

Text channels are separate spaces for talking over text.

They will keep the conversation organized and give everyone plenty of room to talk.

Separate channels are there for all the topics we are interested in and like to talk about--from psychoanalysis to cooking tips. The following channels are contemplated:

* Special Interests (Topical)

* News & Updates: This is where we will share announcements, success stories, and upcoming events.

 * Project-Specific Channels:  Our different initiatives (e.g., learning opportunities, mentorship, community outreach, anti-semitism projects). We will dedicate channels to each. This allows for focused discussion and collaboration.

 * Volunteer Recruitment & Coordination:  A space to connect with potential volunteers, organize tasks, and share resources.

 * "Inspiration Corner" or "Story Sharing":  Highlight individuals making a difference, share uplifting stories, and encourage others to take action.

 * Discussion Forum:  Facilitate conversations about social issues, philanthropy, and ways to create positive change.

2.  Internal Communication and Collaboration:

 * Staff/Board Communication:  Streamline communication, share files, and collaborate on projects in private channels.

 * Committee Workspaces:  Create separate channels for different committees (e.g., fundraising, grant review) to improve organization and efficiency.

3.  Engagement and Expanding Our Reach:

Our Virtual Events. Some examples are:

* one-off topical interactions

* Small groups such as the Boulder, CO Psychotherapist’s Group - hosted by Robert Winer, MD (a Private Meetup Group)

*Conversations with Dr. Winer (one-on-one chats), Online learning sessions (Google Meet) , Impromptu Q&A sessions with a host (Google Meet and Youtube Live Stream),  etc.
